Kim Hersel, Manager of MayhemKim has been planning special events professionally for over 20 years and in that time, she’s seen just about everything! She started planning fundraising events for non-profit organizations and especially loves connecting people with organizations that fuel their passions. Kim learned how to “present the mission” in wildly successful ways that impact prospective donors from some of the masters, such as Dr. Doug Jackson with Project C.U.R.E. and Nancy Thompson who promotes many, many great causes. She learned how to deal with royalty, heads of state, television personalities, music icons, and sports celebrities which has given her the calming presence necessary in successful wedding planning. Kim is a native to Colorado and has been married for 35 years to her husband. Her best buddies are her Bernese Mountain Dogs, Honey and Teddy. You’ll probably meet them if you decide to use our services!

Chelsea Hersel, Chief Chit ChattererChelsea has been working events since she was 14-years-old, being paid in shoes from her mom (who also happens to be her boss). Now, her passion for party planning has blossomed into a flourishing career. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, which makes her the ultimate expert in talking ~ something easily apparent to anyone who meets her! Over the past 13 years she has assisted in planning all kinds of events from weddings to luncheons to concerts. In her spare time she sings for events and groups and has recorded original music. Chelsea is also mom to her two (tiny) fur babies Zoe and Pumpkin. If you’re lucky they’ll be there to give you a warm welcome when you meet with us!However, nothing is more exciting or satisfying for her than getting to know her clients and their friends and families! Chelsea is the ULTIMATE people person!

Vanessa Hersel, Director of DetailsVanessa’s background is as diverse as her talents. She has a wide range of interests and skills that naturally lend themselves to event planning. Before officially working with her mom (Kim) and sister (Chelsea), she managed stores for Victoria’s Secret for over five years. Her passion for perfection follows her through her additional career as a private piano teacher for all ages! She is a stickler for details, and absolutely NO detail is too small to be organized. Her favorite things are checklists, schedules, and charts - yet she also loves fashion, music, romance, and all things girly. Vanessa is a proud mama to two sweet (and LARGE) fur babies, Annie and Elvis. If you’re lucky they might be hanging around when you come to meet with us - two Great Danes are pretty hard to miss!

Nicole Wald, Creative CuratorAs a designer, Nicole prides herself in pursuing all things wildly imaginative! Inspiration for her is the unusual, the unexpected, the curious, the extraordinary. She’s been married to her husband for over 7 years and they share 3 tiny humans! Living life through their eyes keeps her own imagination unbarred. She has an extensive background in graphic design, the arts, and has a Masters degree in Architecture. Nicole’s transition into event planning was very natural, as there is a LOT of need to think outside of the box to turn a client’s vision into reality. Every event is a blank canvas, and she finds an immense amount of satisfaction in helping to create something different every time! Nicole has been working with this amazing team of women for almost 10 years, and in that time we have truly become what you might call a well-oiled machine- different people with different talents that come together to work tirelessly to make your event exactly as you imagined!

Lauren Garbett, Fearless FacilitatorLauren is a wife to an amazing man, a mom of three beautiful girls, and has a background in construction engineering and interior design. Although those things sound wildly independent of one another, each of those things has allowed her overly romantic personality to grow and develop a love for day of coordination! Managing many different schedules and activities in her home life has given her the ability to multitask and deal with the many surprises that come with planning events. In Lauren’s spare time she enjoys working out, visiting open houses and shopping for home decor that she MAY or MAY NOT actually need.
